a new year...new beginnings...new chances...

new seasons...last night at church the sermon was about how everything is just for a season...it gave me a glimpse of hope...that even if i am at the bottom of the valley, it's only for a season...

i'm ready for a new season.

my last semester of my undergrad begins soon...19.5 credits...this could potentially be my busiest semester yet...i already have a million things to do and school hasn't even started.  but this too, is only for a season and it shall soon be over.

Happy Thanksgiving...so much to be thankful for...i need to be more thankful...

home is good.  saw friends.  family came home.  met the sister i never had according to my dad (my brother's girlfriend).  saw family i haven't seen in years.  talked to my cousin in Tanzania and family in Tenessee and Cape Cod all at once.  it was exciting.  deep fried a turkey.  well, my brother did.  i just ate it.

life at home is a completely different world than i know in grand rapids.  hard to explain.  i'm floating somewhere between the 2 worlds.

back to dessert.

My Birthday is coming soon.  Saturday to be exact.

The end of the semester is in sight...I have many things to get through before it comes, but it's in the distance.  Then, onto my final semester at Reformed Bible College....I'm glad that end is in sight too.

check out the book i'm reading...it's amazing.
